Those people, who want a smart phone with a good amount of internal space, should consider the XonPhone 5. This smart phone from OPlus sports a 5” HD display, good design and build quality, awesome battery life and good performance.

OPlus is a name that is very new, they had first come out with a budget tablet called Xonpad 7, now they have XonPhone 5. As far as the Xonpad 7 is concerned, it had got the attention that was due as the company has ensured that it was at par with premium build tablets. What OPlus had done was to merge affordability and decent specifications in Xonpad 7 and now their XonPhone 5.

The XonPhone 5 is the first smart phone offering from Oplus for their Indian consumers, priced at a very competitive Rs. 7999/- or $130. The names that currently dominate this market include Samsung, Motorola, Micromax and Sony. After the release of the Xonpad 7, however, OPlus found that a customized survival strategy worked best for them in this market. This was to offer standard gadgets that also contained good features that were packaged that were effectively priced.

Consumers who have used the XonPhone 5 are happy with it; they do however wish that the cameras were a little better. The 8 MP camera is a very good feature that many other smart phones are not offering along with the 2 MP camera. Both capture very good images and videos, feature multiple settings, and have geo tagging. Here is a quick look at the specifications of the phone:

Intro: XonPhone 5 Review:

After using the XonPad 7, we had very high expectations from the XonPhone 5, which it did deliver on. The first thing that was noticed was the impressive performance after the first boot. Then there was the build of the phone that was also good as it looked like a premium phone and was also built like one. The MT6582 CPU by MediaTek can be found on similar phones, so where quality performance is concerned, one does not have to worry.

Regarding its features, the XonPhone 5 has everything that an androids is supposed to have, and that a good thing. Along with this you also have a few key features that make the phone stand out on its own; this is what makes the phone worth its price tag:

•          5” display (1280x 720p)

•          1 GB RAM

•          Mali 400 GPU

•          16 GB Internal Storage

Upon taking a closer look at what it really contains, the specifications being offered are really good. The experience across all these main criteria was respectable. What adds more value to this phone is the internal storage, price, design, user interface and display?

On a last note, Oplus felt that it was necessary to setup a network for customer support that offers ‘At-Your-Doorstep’ service as part of an extended warranty to the customer. This adds more value as many other bigger companies may not cover their budget smart offerings in this way.
