The All New XonPhone 5 Only Available on Snapdeal

The XonPhone 5, a budget smart phone that has been released by Taiwan based company OPlus, has been tagged as a pretty decent budget phone that impressed even the toughest critics. Even the price tag is a pretty modest one and given the number of features, you get a quite a lot for a very low special introductory price.

Those using Android Phones for the first time will not notice, however the smaller lags when you scroll through various apps. Speaking of operating systems, the XonPhone 5 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and leaves room for upgrading the software. Performance wise, one really can’t complain, as for the price tag, you get a 1.3 GHz MediaTek quad core processor that has been paired with a 1 GB RAM.

On the XonPhone 5, you also get an 8 MP camera and a 2 MP camera, now while the 2 MP camera is only strong enough for selfies and just about delivers a decent picture and video quality for video calling, you can’t really use for anything else. The 8 MP camera is quite good and can be operated using voice capture, so you get pictures in HD and can capture videos @ 30 FPS.

Next moving on to the internal storage, OPlus has been very generous in this dimension and have added 16 GB of internal storage. But users only have 9.5 GB as the remaining storage has been used up by content and preinstalled apps.

The battery is only a 2000 mAh, which is very low despite the price. While it can only deliver on 300 hours of standby time and 15 hours of talk time but it is only strong enough for light to moderate usage, so don’t expect to play any heavy duty games and other multimedia.

While the battery is one of its weaknesses, the next area where the XonPhone 5 makes up for its poorer aspects, is the looks. The XonPhone 5 is a very slim one with elegant dimensions of 143*71.5*7.8mm, so it very easy to hold and is extremely light weight but yet feels heavy like most of the premium smart phones. The XonPhone 5 mimics the perforated back cover of the Samsung S5, so it really does look quite classy, there are three navigation buttons on the bottom of the screen, volume rockers on left and the lock/power button on the right.

There are a few downsides to the XonPhone 5, but then again there are features that are worth the price that you pay for it. You also get additional accessories out of the box and it delivers a pretty decent performance.

If you are looking for a really great smart phone at a really great price, look no further than the XonPhone 5. Log on to www.oplustech.com to know how great it really is.
